Exacting Specifications

Our specifications are designed to give you the best possible building experience. We are not the cheapest price per square foot, nor do we intend to be. The last thing we would ever do is insult your intelligence by simply deleting all the upgrades, structural elements and finishing you’d expect in an estate home in order to give you a false sense of perceived value. Rather than have you remind us of the standard features that are expected in an estate we include them in our standard specifications up front. It’s not simply a matter of having strong specifications to demonstrate our commitment to quality, it’s about making the home building experience as easy and fun as possible. By including the extras up front you don’t have to worry and stress that everything is where it’s supposed to be. This frees up your energy to focus on personalization and customization, which is where your energy should go. Things like large allowances for kitchen appliances and cabinets, in-slab heating in the garage as well as the basement, 8′ high doors with 4 hinges each to compliment your 10′ ceilings. Leave the small stuff to us.

FAQs


Q: If I own my own land will you build on it?

A: Absolutely! We do it all the time. We will build on any land in and around the Calgary region without restriction. We understand the rules on building both inner city and country residential lots and locations.


Q: Do you build inner city homes and infills?

A: Yes we do. We have built a number of homes in the inner city. Feel free to speak with our sales representatives for more information on this.


Q: How long does it take to build a home?

A: It depends on the size and complexity of the design of your home. There are a lot of variables that contribute to the time lines of the construction of your home. The design stage can take anywhere from 3-6 months depending on the clarity of your wants and needs as well as the time it takes to get approvals from the land developer and the city. The construction time is about 10-13 months on average.


Q: Are you members of the Alberta New Home Warranty Program?

A: Yes, Wolf is a proud member of ANHWP. All homes are provided with $100,000 in pre-possession coverage, and effective upon possession you are protected by both the Alberta New Home Buyers’ Protection Act as well as ANHWP’s 1-2-5-10 year coverages.
